Home Builders In Atlantic & Cape May County

Build Your Dream Home

Building Homes Made For Memories

Every custom home starts with the same thing, a vision. A conversation at the kitchen table about the life you want to live, the way you want to spend your summers, and the kind of home you want your grandkids to remember. At DB Custom Properties, our job is to take that vision and turn it into a real, standing, livable home on the Jersey Shore. Not a template. Not a spec build. A home designed specifically for you, your lot, and the way the light comes through the windows at 4pm in July.

We are a licensed New Jersey new home builder (License #055880) based in Ocean City, serving Cape May and Atlantic County families who want to build from the ground up. That includes first time builders, shore renters ready to plant roots, and families trading up to a home that actually fits how they live now. If you have the land, we have the team, the craftsmen, the designers, and the coastal experience to build on it.

Vision

It all begins with a dream, a vision that we meticulously nurture alongside you, ensuring every detail is perfected, right down to the final coat of paint.

Reality

Taking your dream, our team of in-house architects, designers, and builders work tirelessly to transform your vision from a blueprint into a well-constructed home, using only quality materials.

What Your New Home Needs

Our team of professionals collaborates with you at every step of the process. We handle every detail with care to ensure your project stays on track. With DB Custom Properties, you can enjoy a stress-free building experience from start to finish.

Architectural Design Collaboration

We work closely with your architect—or connect you with one of our trusted design partners—to create a home that reflects your lifestyle, tastes, and vision from the ground up.

Lot Evaluation & Site Planning

Before construction begins, we assess your lot’s orientation, zoning requirements, and flood zone regulations to ensure your home is up-to-code. No land, no problem, we have a in-house real-estate agent to assist you.

Permitting & Code Management

We handle all the permitting and ensure your project meets local building codes, coastal regulations, and elevation requirements specific to Ocean City and the surrounding South Jersey towns.

Foundation & Framing

Our team lays the groundwork with precision—pouring strong, stable foundations and framing your home with structural integrity to withstand coastal weather conditions.

Interior Layout & Design

From open-concept kitchens to private suites and custom storage, we help design smart, functional floorplans that reflect the way you live.

High-End Finish Selection

We guide you through finishes like cabinetry, flooring, tile, countertops, and fixtures—ensuring every detail aligns with your style and elevates the overall design.

Outdoor Living & Coastal Features

Design your dream deck, porch, or rooftop lounge—complete with outdoor showers, built-in grills, and hurricane-rated windows to match the shore lifestyle.

Project Management

From start to finish, we provide regular updates, photos, and progress reports—keeping you informed and confident, whether you’re local or building from afar.

Final Walkthrough & Move-In Prep

Before handing over the keys, we do a detailed walkthrough to ensure everything is perfect—and make sure you're fully prepared for move-in day.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dream Builders did a phenomenal job with my cottage renovation. They put in a spiral staircase and remodeled both my first and second floors. They were always available to answer questions and handled the typical issues that come up with home improvement very well. They treated me, and my place with the upmost respect. Highly recommend!
